After a decorated indoor volleyball career at Queen’s University (5 OUA Medals) Sam began playing for the Canadian National Beach Volleyball Team in 2010. He has represented Canada at over 75 international events, and had been ranked in the top 20 in the world the past two seasons. He was awarded the 2017 FIVB Most Improved Player Award and continues to build off a solid 2018 season as he pursues his goals of medaling at the 2020 Olympic Games. Off the court you will find Sam enjoying time with his wife Rebecca and two cats George Harrison and Penny Lane
